Issues with COMPASS? Report It!

There are two ways to “Report It!”

1. Take the Louisiana Federation of Teachers’ survey about COMPASS.

We want to know what you think about COMPASS!  Whether you’re having a problem, or just want to report an issue, please click here and take the all-new  LFT COMPASS survey.

2. Email us locally.  “Report It! is a great tool to keep a personal record for value-added assessments.  Send us an email from your personal email address (do NOT use your school email account), simply place your name in the subject line.  This is critical.  We will help you keep a running tally.  Report anything you think can affect your final outcome, i.e. lack of supplies and materials, a teacher’s aide was needed and not provided, you were moving from room to room, absences due to student activities and kids being pulled out of the classrooms, changing job assignments, unresolved discipline issues, JPAMS issues, etc.  Report It! Send us an email from your personal email address (do NOT use your school email account), simply place your name in the subject line.

Most Improved Student Celebration/M.I.S. Awards 2013

The Most Improved Student Celebration/M.I.S. Awards 2013 was a great success.  One student from each Caddo Parish School was recognized as the most improved student in the school. Students, their families, teachers, principals, staff, and other school officials shared in the celebration.

Students were chosen by their teachers, counselors, and administrators, because they had shown great improvement over the school year. They may have improved their grade point average in the second semester, or had fewer disciplinary problems, better attendance, or noticeably improved peer relations and respect for others. In each case, it was a remarkable experience for that child.
